The most recent Wado Ryu Dan Gradings of 2008 were held in Wakefield. They took place on Sunday 8th June 2008 and the association welcomes even more Dan grades to the association. Shodan is 1st Dan Black Belt awarded to those who are 18 and over. Shodan (Cadet) is 1st Dan to those lucky enough to be under 18.
